I just can't see Wlad's chin holding up against the early onslaught. Tyson was too fast not to land something big in those early rounds, and Wlad is honestly packing pretty much glass. He got shook up by a jab from Pulev, who is basically not good.

I think people overcomplicate this fight.

Not to mention that I think Wlad could potentially swallow it. Sam Peter nearly took him out from sheer panic more than anything else. There have been times when it looked like the wind could blow Wlad over, honestly.

Yea, as I keep saying, I love Tyson, esp back in the Kid Dynamite era. But, the science is not in his favor. Watch the way Povetkin (who is much taller than Tyson) tries to get inside and gets shut down repeatedly, and lit up on the outside.




Then, watch the way Douglas controls the distance with Mike. That's Wlad's bread and butter. Those claiming Tyson destroys in the clinch only need to look at the way JBD tied him up and imagine that done by a larger man, who is even better at clinching. Wlad's clinch doesn't just tie you up, it drain the hell out of you because the bastard tries to fold you and fk up your balance and breathing. Tyson vs Douglas wasn't just Mike having an off night, it was a plan that played perfectly against the holes in Tyson's game.
