The media narrative would be changed. Instead of guys being accused of ducking him the media would say Haymon gives him easy fights. Or he's an over protected bum. Broner was lambasted for turning down $4mil against Pacquiao but $10 mil for GGG vs Canelo is considered a low ball. The Broner vs Pacquiao fight would sell more PPV's than Canelo vs. GGG.

Look at what Pac did against Bradley, a fight no one wanted to see. Pac consistently does 400k PPV. Broner has mainstream appeal from people who don't even follow boxing. For good or bad he's always on TMZ. Canelo brings in the Mexican fans. GGG brings in the hardcore fans. Both Broner and Pac have a casual following. Neither Canelo or GGG have casual appeal. Both have boring personalities. One doesn't speak English the other butchers the language. I'm not saying that to diss them. I'm saying that because you have to be able to communicate to the casual fans. In many people's eyes Broner vs Pac would be revenge for May vs Pac. That's why Arum called Broner before called anyone else. That fight would sell

Let me add something else to illustrate my point. Maidana got the Mayweather fight because he beat Broner. Floyd was able to sell that fight to the casual fans TWICE because Maidana beat Broner

Canelo/GGG vs Pac/Broner would be equally massive. Emphasis on "equally." As for the purse split determination, there's a difference between the two. Obviously, Alvarez is not as big of a star as Pac is. Also, beating Canelo is not as big as beating Pac. So it's a useless comparison.
