That's just the thing. People get better after the amateurs. I don't think anybody seriously believes that Khan or Matthyese could beat Thurman right now, and that's what it's about "Right now" not 2-3-4 years ago. Other than Spence I don't see anyone at 147 really jumping at a chance to face Thurman right now either.
