David Tua. His rise, and eventual loss on the big stage against Lennox Lewis, drew me into the sport as a kid. The emotional ride, seeing him demolish grown men, the excitement of seeing a Kiwi get a shot at the top, then cruel disappointment seeing him outclassed by a legend.. It had me hooked.

Now, almost 20 years later, another kiwi Samoan has come along, and will get his shot.

Currently its Francisco Vargas. Guy is really fun to watch, countering, always attacking, everytime it's a battle, not ducking anyone.
I hope he don't get punch drunk, he's young and skilled.

My top 5 favorite fighters, past or present

Azumah Nelson - My father's favorite fighter, so he was the first fighter that I took to.

Julio Cesar Chavez - to me, he fought like a Mexican Azumah Nelson

Roy Jones Jr - most athletically gifted fighter I'd seen put gloves on when I first saw him

Floyd Mayweather Jr - sublime talent, who was the first fighter I picked up on the subtleties of boxing craft watching.

Andre Ward - continuation of what I enjoyed seeing from Floyd, while also being the first local star, in my time, to launch in boxing; could kind of see it from the Olympics.

Felix Trinidad. Had good power. Killer robot style. Had adversity that he came back from in many fights. Kept challenging himself to higher weight fights after success at a lower weight. Great fighter.

Because they are thoroughbred fighters and they not look like basketball player so I am not fan of any fighter today. I miss them so much... Technique, Skills, Strenght, Strong Chin and more...
Ye i like Chagaev, one of my favorite fighters, hes the definition of a man.
And how can you not like a guy who slayed a fking giant!?
It was like watching a modern day David vs Goliath, real epic
While i dont like Haye for his hypocrisy and lying he also has my respect for slaying the beast.

This highlight of Ruslan is damn epic, and the music fits so perfect

yeah dude I watched that video, so his technical skills too great. He use hook, jabs, uppercut and everything... Today giant fighters just used jabs and im tired of this style. I wanna watch close fight like https://********/4OF71XYmmhI?t=1619 this moment.

David Haye deserves respect so who will be his next opponent? Do you have information on this issue?

It's a toss up between Pryor and Whitaker. Pryor was a savage inside and out the ring. Whitaker' defense and skills was special to watch. If I had to choose I would go with Pryor.

Presently, I like Lomachenko. I think he is the most gifted fighter today with Mayweather officially retired.

Not sure what Hayes next step is, i think Haye is terrible human being but he is a tremendous fighter and i think he can beat any1 @ heavyweight atm, especially now that he has grown in to the weight
Just watched Bellew - Flores and Bellew threw mad shots @ Haye in the post fight interview, but im hoping the WBC does not let Bellew face haye next cause Mairis Briedis and Grigory Drozd are next in line
As for Haye he said he would fight Briggs but he hasnt stayed true to his word yet again and the fight looks unlikely
The best possible fight with Haye atm would be vs AJ or Wilder imo but i doubt neither wanna give Haye the payday hes looking for, as for the outcome
If the fight were ton happen next i think Haye would destroy AJ (hes very talented but still a bit too raw for some1 of Hayes experience, and his chin is kind of suspect)
Wilder vs Haye would be more competitive and id favor Wilder

I find it so funny that everyone is clowning David Haye now, hes getting ******ed on social media...
Briggs, Bellew etc are all roasting him 24/7
But thats what happens when u make promises u dont intend to keep

Past: Hagler. I liked him ever since I was 5. Then I grew up and got to learn more about him and his career. I just love his macho man's man attitude. He fought against boxing politics many times and always had a chip on his shoulder. And he took on all comers. Also a very well rounded fighter, great skills, power and a chin.

Present: I don't know. Pacquiao was my favorite fighter for the last 13 years, but his career is winding down and he should be retired. So I would say it's between GGG, Lomachenko and Crawford. All great fighters, but not one really stands out about the others at the moment.

                    Honorable mentions: Kovalev and Spence.
