You're right....which is why I say that if Jacobs allows himself to get beat by that gameplan he shouldn't have been in the ring in the first place.

Jacobs will land for sure, but GGG will keep coming and Jacobs will wilt under the pressure. Body shots will make the difference, by the 5th Jacobs will be feeling it and go on the defensive, then GGG will close like he always does. Expect a game performance from Jacobs, but GGG just too much for him - different class.

I'm still not sure Jacobs will take the fight - he's working out where he will stand when he loses and if there are better routes to take by avoiding the fight (more money to be made by more Moras, Quillins etc). Pretty sure Jacobs will duck.

In a sense SRL is right. The only chance Jacobs have in this fight is by making it a slug fest and a fire fight; Because there's no way around trying to out box Golovkin from the outside by making it a tactical fight.

Jacobs needs to get his punches off first and jump on him early by backing him up. He is going to have to force GGG to fight off the back foot, if he stands any chance of winning this fight.

What do you mean by pursuing man. He been begging for a higher purse. Wba told him you know the rules when you signed up 75/25 not 60/ 40 now a purse bid is due soon. The big question is if Jacobs takes the fight or vacates because he wants more money. You call that pursuing/ respect I call that stalling. Brook gets respect knew his worth made the fight happen and signed the deal in 1 day. Hearn made up the difference for his fighter and every one got paid. Al Haymon could very easily do the same thing.

Great break down of the fight. That might be his only chance have no fear and get off early. But I'm sure Abel is showing Glolovkin tape on the Postal and Mora fights about how to touch that chin with the overhand right. Then working on it in training.

It wasn't the first time Jacobs went down in that fight - the ropes held him up in the second round but the ref didn't call it as there was no touch down with gloves of knees, but he got rocked multiple times in that fight (all lucky ?)

When the ref got to 5 Jacobs hadn't even moved and was still flat on his back, then the ref called it to protect the fighter as when a boxer isn't even trying to get up its his job to call the fight so the fighter can get whatever attention he needs. ONLY THEN did Jacobs start trying to jump up and was held down by the ref as the fight had been called already. If Jacobs wanted to continue he should have at least shown signs of intending to get up before 5 and then sat it out to 9 on one knee of something like that.

Quote from the commentators in the second round of the fight 'he's beating Jacobs up in this round....', if Jacobs was dominating and outclassing him and got caught by a one-off home-run attempt by the other guy then maybe could be called 'lucky punch', but Jacobs was getting punished in that fight and eventually went down towell-timed over hand right that caught him flush.

But look at Pirog's body work in the second - thats what set it all up. GGG's body work will be more punishing than anything Pirog could come up with, and the fight will go the same way.

Jacob's has improved since then, but GGG is also a step-up from Jacobs (GGG was supposed to fight Pirog but Pirog got his back injury and had to retire...else we would be able to talk about how GGG/Pirog went...pity).

Jacobs must have some reach because he won't be anywhere near the arena next time GGG fights, never mind land first. The duck is coming any minute now.
