If he's throwing back as well I'd have to assume I get stopped before I could ever land anything clean.
Nah, he couldn't throw back. He'd just be able to use the ring to utilize his defense. Obviously if he was allowed to throw back then every single person in here would be KTFO with the quickness.

The real question should be how many rounds you think you'd go with B suth

Dude Brometheus, I got mad respect for you, you're a quality poster but this is the dumbest question I've arguably ever seen on these boards

Sutherland stops every motherf**ker in here in the first tenth of the first second of the first round

I'm much bigger than Floyd so it wouldn't be fair to begin with, but to answer your question I'd probably tag him more than once.

lol most pro boxers wouldn't be able to land a flush punch on Floyd to this day. Lets not kid ourselves by thinking we'd even land a glancing shot. At best you can land some jabs to the body. Anything else gets blocked or rolled/parried.

No body shots. It has to be a clean shot down the pipe.

And I agree. I mean the dude made guys like Canelo, Marquez, and Pacquiao look completely anemic in the ring from an offensive standpoint.

There's no way any joe schmoe from the boards here would land a flush shot on Floyd. Not even the ones who have some amateur experience in here.

                  Could you get it done?
I'm positive I could land a jab or two on him in the first few rounds. I tend to surprise most people I face, and I also use a shell and have a similar enough style, and have studied him for so long that I feel pretty confident being able to land a few early shots in, my problem is that i'm not always the best at adjusting. He would take away my best punches early on because lesser fighters have done so, and if you counter me viciously I get gunshy, and start to struggle to focus on making adjustments because I am too caught up with trying to counter back out of anger and pride.

I don't know about all that most prolific defensive fighter in the sport crap though. He's a great fighter, but I think guys like Sweet Pea and Locche would be waaaaay harder to land cleanly on.

You appear quite convinced. Why bother making a thread asking the question?
