Refreshing to hear a hardcore Golovkin fan say that. Bravo (no sarcasm).
He says he's about to announce his next opponent for a fight before the end of this year so it sounds like he's booked, through I'm sure he'd cancel his reservation if Golovkin came calling.

I didn't respect Canelo to he fought Lara, which was all risk/no reward. But, I thought that took balls. Even if Genady turned Lara into pumice I wouldn't let it take anything away from the value of that win. The guy is a tricky bastard.

I said this before, I wouldn't mind seeing a Martirosyan vs GGG bout with the road leading to Lara. This fight would guarantee the bout imo, with Lara even being at the fight and perhaps hoping on stage to confront.

But more importantly, since Loeffler insinuates that Golovkin is the king in LA because of the Rubio fight, then Martirosyan, with his huge Armenian LA fanbase, the bout would do great imo with even a high price at the gate.

Its a good fight, Lara will do good for the first 4 rounds but then he will be broke down and stopped by the ninth, they should put it on PPV, Lara will attract cubans american's and Golovkin will attract hardcore fans, maybe it will do 200K-275K

PPV? I think it's a good fight but I cannot see a PPV working at all. Sure if the Jacobs fight falls through and lines between Loeffler and Uncle Al are still open maybe try and pull a Brook / Eubank type switcheroo, see if Lara will accept what Jacobs feels is too low.

To my mind this is a good fight, as good as anything available at 160 bar Saunders, Jacobs and (possibly) Eubanks but I don't believe that it'll draw in huge viewership and as a PPV doubt it'd even beat GGG - Lemieux numbers.

Can't tell of serious lol. Martirosyan sucks, that's not a good idea. They wouldn't need to build Golovkin to fight Lara and Vanes isn't really popular in LA. Sure, he had some Armenian fans in Glendale but even with that he's not much of a draw in LA plus he's fallen off some after losing several fights.

I think if Lara wants to fight Golovkin for real at middleweight they should do it early next year since i think Golovkin will have a fight in December against a middleweight Jacobs or not. But after that, around March, that's plenty of time to work something out and not have to try and rush anything for December.
