LoL if Ward wins sucks, nobody have good resume now.

Then you have guys like Khurtsidze, who's old, tiny but a nightmare matchup and Quillin, who may move to SMW after.

There's nothing wrong with the MW division. There are 3-4 guys who have not faced each other yet but are all good fighters. It's not much different than LHW, if we say Golovkin=Kov, Canelo=Ward, DL or DJ=Adonis, Alvarez=BJS, Monroe=Chilemba, Gvozdyk=Derevyanchenko.. etc

When one guy is seen to be dominating the division there will always be people who say it's because the division sucks. It has nothing to do with the truth - people have their little agendas and they overreact to everything.
      solid list

original poster is clueless. People hate 160 cause GGG fights at it and its another way of discrediting him, its as simple as that. Welter has some depth to it but name me another weight division wehre theres a top 10 where they are all quality fighters? There isnt one... Middleweight is as good as any other division with its top 10, and its better than Supermiddleweight which everyone is desperate for him to move up to. And if you disagree, name me a top 10 supermiddleweight list

Just my 2p. For my money N'Dam N'Jikam should land in a MW top 10, despite the losses against Lemieux and Quillin which may have some folk labelling him as trash. I would have had Korobov in there too but I think he's likely to be at 168 from here on in. Both are guys that have outboxed every opponent they've ever faced despite lamentable deficiencies in the chin (or possibly in N'Dam case, balance) department. N'Dam though, definitely, even if it is like watching a slick Jack-in-a-Box at times.

Middleweight is seriously a weak division. It's a catch 22 situation where nobody can get any good wins because there's nobody established in the division besides Gennady Golovkin. All of the catchweight stuff has damaged the division too. I personally won't be including catchweight boxers in my rankings.

                  01.) Gennady Golovkin, 36-0 (33 KO)
                  02.) Daniel Jacobs, 32-1 (29 KO)
                  03.) Billy Joe Saunders, 23-0 (12 KO)
                  04.) Andy Lee, 34-3-1 (24 KO)
                  05.) Peter Quillin, 32-1-1 (23 KO)
                  06.) David Lemieux, 35-3 (32 KO)
                  07.) Chris Eubank, Jr., 23-1 (18 KO)
                  08.) Willie Monroe, Jr., 21-2 (6 KO)
                  09.) Maciej Sulecki, 23-0 (8 KO)
                  10.) Sergiy Derevyanchenko, 9-0 (7 KO)
                  - Ievgen Khytrov, 14-0 (12 KO)
                  - Ryota Murata, 11-0 (8 KO)
                  - Tureano Johnson, 19-1 (13 KO)
