It's just a different fight. Danny was bigger than Lucas and Thurman appears bigger than Danny. Thurman might punch harder than Lucas (I can't say for sure he does), he changes his look better than Lucas; he'll ****, he'll dance away. I think Lucas had the better tank however, I'd wager he's more dangerous late in the fight than Thurman is. It's just a different kind of fight.

I don't think too highly of Garcia, I've always said his advantage was his size at 140 (I predicted he was near Guerrero's level and that the fight would be competitive), but he's still solid. It could be interesting if Garcia lands a bomb on Thurman. Otherwise, I have Thurman winning this one over 12.

When I say someone is bigger or smaller, I'm factoring in their body frame at the weigh in...some fighters, believe it or not, don't rehydrate properly, some fighters rehydrate more or less under different trainers and for different opponents, so unless a guy is considerably bigger on fight night it's not something I'm weighing heavily. Danny Garcia has a bigger frame than Lucas Matthysse. There's a reason Lucas can still make 140 and Danny can't. Danny is well built, solid welterweight frame. Not a big welter tho.
