Klitschko has an exclusive contract with HBO, as Joshua does with Showtime.
Those issues would have to be resolved for the fight to be televised in the US.Comment

what i mean is that if the fight is made the US networks will just have to fall in line if they want to show it. Its not going to make or break the deal is the US networks cant come to an agreementComment

I was optimistic when Wilder and Fury both won themselves a belt in 2015 and we all saw how that worked out.Comment

Hopefully Stiverne can bring back some magic and make the Ortiz fight fun to watch. Looking forward to that one. Joshua vs. Klitschko is also intriguing. It's certainly a better time in the heavyweight division. No more Wlad/Vitali versus no hopers.Comment

Anthony Joshua has a multifight deal with Showtime worth millions, that's a significant financial partner.
I don't think the issues with the US market and broadcasters will be that easy to just brush off.
But we'll see.Comment

that's boxing though, the next year is always going to be awesome, or so im told. The division as a whole has the potential to open up next year, though. We are likely to get Povetkin-Stiverne in December which shouldn't be overlooked. It's a good fight. 2017 is going to get interesting, especially now that Fury is out of the picture all of a sudden. Be optimistic.Comment

Obviously its not ideal, but the fight is gonna be huge on PPV over here (AJ did like 400,000 buys vs Martin) and will probably do some ridiculous numbers on RTL in germany plus all the other eastern Euro nations.
HBO and Sho are just not big factors in this in comparison. There are plenty of bigget stumbling blocs than this, and if those can be over come then the fight will be made in spite of the US network issueComment
