        • Better fighter: GGG
better boxer: Rigo all day long.

Rigo is easily the most talented boxer for me right now, very skillful and technically brilliant but he is so defensive-minded in his approach. I guess it's because his chin is a little suspect.

GGG is the better fighter for me because he's more aggressive, willing to take more risks and is gifted with great physical attributes (power and a great chin). I guess it all depends on what you mean by fighter though.

            Lol

I hear ya ...rigo has pop you're on your own there

Its not always about size and power.

The shot you don't see puts you to sleep

I'll agree about the part of the shot you don't see putting you out. So, yeah, if he caught me square on the jaw with one I dont see coming, it's possible. Then again, I've been in a few fights myself. Look at my avatar pic. That line across my forehead isn't just an age line. It's where a board was broken over my head. If you look closely at my hairline, you can see a small vertical line from a metal pole. You can't see it in the pic, but I had 25 stitches in my ear from a beer bottle almost ripping it in half. None of these shots even took me off my feet. Im not worried about a shot from a 120 lb guy putting me down.

A quick tale of the tape. I have an 8 inch height advantage, a 7.5 inch reach advantage, a roughly 65 lb weight advantage. Size wise, it would be like him getting in the ring with Kovalev.

                yikes

i see where you are coming from

bar room brawler i see!!!! road house style

                damned battle scars

on the flip side, Ive seen some guys get their ass handed to them by guys a lot smaller

especially in the ring where their is a disparity in experience.

We have a pro named Derrick wilson, his last fight was a catch weight at 124.....he was getting the better of guys who walk around at 150-160

size does matter but pros hands a registered for a reason.

i've done light sparring with him a few times and its a big difference from his punches and the amatuer guys/street tough guys

I did some underground fights back in the late 90s, early 2000s against some martial arts trained guys as well, just those fights didnt leave any visible scars, lol. And you're 100%, there's a big difference between getting hit by a 'tough guy' and getting hit by someone that knows how to torque his shots. It's like when I did Aikido, a 160lb black belt Brian hit harder than the fresher bricklayer that weighed 230 or so

                  • Rigondeaux is a two time gold medalist. Golovkin is a one time silver medalist.

Rigondeaux shut out a top 5 p4p fighter. Golovkin shut out Martin Murray.

                    Nuff said.
