He has always had the signs of this. His brash, arrogant style was some deep need for attention and approval. His mother or father or both very obviously didn't provide him adequate love as he was growing up. His public character illustrates this clearly. Outward show is often the opposite of inward emotions and self-esteem. But someone needs to step in. He has time in his life to turn around and figure out what deep rooted issue is causing all of this and clear it up with some mental help. If he lives 10 years, he will probably be a changed man. But he needs to be treated so that he can become the person he is capable of becoming and not go on some drunken or drug induced moment where he does the ultimate and kills himself. It could happen.
If he's being serious, I hope he gets help before he wastes the life he has been blessed with. The end of the day, he needs to accept that he is where he is because of his decisions: 125k settlement? shouldn't have assaulted someone; IRS payment?Should live within his means; Child support payment? Condoms exists.
He's in his late 20s now. It's time for him to start being a man.
