Sad to think that I said this was going to happen two years ago. You can see that he was mentally weak by the way he acted, and once he realized his boxing career was a washout, he had nothing. He'll either end up in prison for a long while or dead.

I've had a gut feeling for over a year that he would eventually end up being the type of cat to do himself in. Didn't Floyd already talk him out of killing himself like 3-4 years ago?

Was truly hoping this guy would turn himself around and become some kind of story about maturing, finding yourself, etc. But, here he is complaining about finances, then spitting suicide threats. This isn't the first time.
Would you feel any different if he actually followed through on such a threat? Regardless of what you are any other armchair psychologist here on boxingscene thinks, Broner has appeared time and time again in the past to be mentally unstable and liable to do anything. I wouldn't brush off talk of suicide so quickly.
I was never a fan of his bravado and ring personality but he is still a human being and still has a solid career to pursue if he can pull himself together and get the right help. It's very possible he needs to be diagnosed and properly medicated. I hope he gets the help he appears to so desperately need.

He still has a career if he can take care of all the problems that exist outside of the ring. The guy may never be the best in his division but when he's on his game, he is a solid competitor and can make a good living for himself. The trouble is, he seems to be throwing it all away by acting like a hood, beating up a friend for bowling money and losing his grip on reality. I was never a fan of his boxing style or personality but I hope he gets the right help, has some sort of revelation and gets his priorities in check.
Does anybody even know if Broner is the same outside the ring as he is when he enters the arena for a fight? It could be a put on or he could be multiple personality. Who the hell knows?

you guys need to stop playing dr phil and thinking this guy is deeper than he appears to be. he is just another gangsta thug piece of **** that belongs in prison or dead. the only reason he's not in prison is he made enough money being a pos to be above the law. he pays his victims off to avoid prison time. stop treating this guy as a victim that deserves your pity.

I'm not going to say you're wrong or that you don't make good points. I'm not very sympathetic to guys like he and Fury who are making millions, have families, fame, toys, resources and help. When I had those emotions, I was in the streets, no money, no way to get help, no clue what was even wrong with me. Not all of us are armchair psychiatrists, some have been in worse situations and made it by without anyone coddling us. I can only SMH to the celebrity millionaire who chooses not to get help despite thousands reaching out to them.

I assumed it was him being ******, trying to be funny but I'm starting to think him and Fury are both sick and a lot of what I thought they were saying to troll or be silly was more because they they can't even control themselves.
