First off, you know nothing about me.2015 population estimates (courtesy of Wikipedia) has the US population (nearly 325m people) as currently being 77% White.
That's 250m people, currently speaking, being white, with the other 75m being non-white.
It apparently doesn't bother you, but being non-white, generally speaking, are nearly twice as likely to get killed by law enforcement than white people are, regardless of how hard you try and cling to an absolute number to muddle the point.
Nice that you've finally felt confident enough to show your true face, though
Next, the whole population has nothing to do with it. The number of people in the justice system is what counts and why *** is a complete farce. The whole movement is without merit.
More ********** question authority and that's where the problem starts.
If you threaten or disobey law enforcement, you should expect to possibly get shot or tazed.
Common sense tells us that. Race should have nothing to do with common sense.Comment

I think when a lot of people say "all lives matter", they say it in a condescending way....not in a way about equality. That is probably where the criticism comes from.
When i first heard "black lives matter" I didn't take it as "black lives matter and other lives don't." I took it as "our lives should matter, too!"...which I have no problem with. It makes sense considering how african americans are treated in the criminally justice system compared to whites.Comment

I'd be happy to. Thank you for asking.
If a suspect gets too close to an officer, it really doesn't matter if the suspect has a weapon or not. If they're able to punch, push, or tackle the officer down, the officer can easily be killed from punches, elbows, choking, or losing control of their own weapon and having it used against them by the suspect.
So if a suspect disobeys commands and refuses to cease walking towards the officer, runs or charges towards the officer, etc, shooting the suspect is completely legitimate. Whether the suspect has a weapon is completely irrelevant because if the officer isn't able to maintain a safe distance, their life will be in danger regardless.
If a suspect's hands are not clearly visible, a suspect refuses to put their hands in the air or has their hands in their pockets, the officer has no idea if the suspect is armed or not. If a suspect disobeys commands and refuses to show their hands, an officer has no way of knowing if their life is in danger or not. Wait too long to shoot and in a split second you could be the one that ends up shot.
If a suspect is holding an object and disobeys commands to drop the object, the officer has no idea if the suspect is armed or not. Wait too long to shoot and in a split second you could be the one that ends up shot.
If a suspect is resisting arrest and struggling with the officer trying to handcuff them, the officer is in danger of being tripped, tackled or mounted. At which point the officer could be killed by punches, elbows, choking or losing control of their weapon and having it used against them as previously discussed.
If a suspect is resisting arrest and struggling with the officer trying to handcuff them, the officer also has no idea if the suspect is armed or not. Wait too long to shoot and in a split second you could be the one that ends up shot.
I'm sure there are some police shootings of unarmed individuals that don't fit into any of these scenarios, but a lot of them do. So when people are automatically outraged by the shooting of an unarmed suspect, I lose a lot of respect for their position because clearly they're either too ignorant or too emotional to consider the various scenarios where the officer would be 100% in the right for shooting regardless of whether the suspect ultimately ended up being armed or not.Comment
