He seems to improve on something every fight,at 26 years old he is still getting ,better,stronger and is still filling out..This time next year he will be even better then he is now. Canelo seems to be a student of the game and seems to want to get better badly...He has a nice work ethic and seems to be a gym rat, you dont hear him getting drunk or anything like that. The kid has a bright future in this sport.

You are right his rate of improvement is still pretty significant fight to fight I think he is starting to hit his peak now though.

The idea that he was weight drained is as silly as the idea that Cotto was weight drained against Pacquiao. He got outboxed, simple. And he's a much better fighter for it too.

yet floyd fans still claim til this day that cotto was weight drained. and you never seem to have any problem with it. but when people say canelo was weight drained, here you come to the rescue. one thing to keep in mind, cotto doesnt re hydrate as high as canelo does on fight night.

You are right on the money, and I agree 100%. I have been a huge Canelo fan since I first saw him when he KOed Cotto's brother. He is totally dedicated to boxing and improves with every fight. I thought he looked amazing against Smith.
