Was he 152 in the ring????

If not then that shi.t is irrelevant.

    The 152 offer came from Canelo's end...not Floyd's.

The idea that he was weight drained is as silly as the idea that Cotto was weight drained against Pacquiao. He got outboxed, simple. And he's a much better fighter for it too.

I don't see this much better fighter.

He's still the same guy that loads up too much, and can't hold the center of the ring regardless the opponent.

        Canelo is Canelo....a sold fighter...nothing more...nothing less.

Maybe. Not sure I agree, man. I feel like he sets up his big punches better, paces himself much better, defense is improving. You could be right though, we'll need better improvements to be sure.

He looks pretty good against the Liam Smith's of the world. I actually had the fight alot closer than most. I was at the fight and haven't had a chance to rewatch it yet but Canelo likes laying on the ropes. That's ok against a guy like Smith, it will get him beat up against the top MWs if the world. Hell Lemule would kill him if he pulled that crap. He is a good fighter for sure but he is still the same as he has always been, maybe a little sharper here an there.

Mayweather is the A side in all cases. You must wonder why Alvarez agreed to a 152 catch. Who had the WBC and Super WBA? A fight vs Floyd means opportunity. with Floyd in the picture, which is the most logical consession? It's about: Did Alvarez ''agree'' or request a 152 to fight Floyd? Or was it, if you want to fight me, 152 then?

Was this dialogue contested by both parties?

"when the (fight) negotiations started, they wanted me to go to 147. I said that's physically impossible. I couldn't do it. Then they inched up to 150. I said I can't do it, that's impossible. Those days are over. I can't make that weight anymore, I've grown.

"Then they went up to 151. And then finally, so we could make the fight, I said, 'If anything, I'll give up two pounds. I'll go up to 152. I agreed to that. Then they tried to force me to be quiet and not to mention anything that they came up with the weight of 152. And that's why ... I haven't said anything until now.

"They said we were idiots, we were ******, that we were the ones that wanted the catchweight."

Mayweather's camp responded by saying the "took advantage of a situation" and that Mayweather's role in increasing the value of the fight, and thus the amount of money Canelo will make, gives him "the right" to utilize his leverage.

Alvarez has not weighed 152 or under since coming in at 151.5 against Matthew Hatton in 2011.

I don't think he likes laying on the ropes at all. I think he's just working at fighting off them. And you'll see it a little more in his next two fights before he tackles GGG.

You absolutely have an agenda. This point is driven home by your posts claiming g strings victims are better than they are(Lemew, Stevens). Further proven by you trolling the fighters your love interest won't fight (Ward, Lara, Canelo). And even more proven by you posting over and over about how g strings fight vs a welterweight was going to be a competitive fight.

Boxing fan my azz, you're nothing but a cheerleader.

Canela is improved as a fighter there's no doubt about it!

He's working on countering the jab, when to go downstairs, pull counters, pacing himself, defensively in the trenches, and fighting off the ropes!

You can see it in each fight he's working on his moves and when to use them at the right moments!

Wouldn't surprise me he's been perfecting his style and polishing it to get ready for his move to 160! Would like to see him against Lemule or even Jacobs!
