    And who is Boone, the guy who faced both fighters taking in the fight? Kovalev. Enough said.

    Darnell Boone, perhaps more than anyone has an intimate knowledge of Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1, 26KOs) and Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs), who will meet on November 19th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

      Kovalev won both his fights with Boone, fuckwit, and he didn't have to get off the canvas like Ward to do it.

        Because the facts are not a friend to either of you, I'll post this again;
        ATLANTA, GEORGIA, October 12, 2010 — This past Saturday night in Atlanta, Light Heavyweight sensation Sergey Kovalev ran his record to a perfect 10-0 with 9 KO’s as he was taken the distance for the first time in his career and scored an eight round decision over veteran upset specialist Darnell Boone.
        This was a great learning experience for Kovalev, who was sent to canvas for the first time in his career in round seven but stood up to win victory.

        Everyone felt Kovalev should have lost the first Boone fight (look it up if you don't believe). He had a rematch in which he beat him handily. I'm not trying to bash Kov, just get the truth to come to the surface here because some are trying their best to hide it.

          There are no knockdowns recorded in the official result of Kovalev vs Boone-1.

                Wait, what??? You are so self deluded that you read a post-fight article and convince yourself "it didn't happen". lolololol Keep clickin those ruby slippers Dorothy!!!

                You are seriously too simple for me to waste any more time bickering with so go ahead and get in your last words. I won't be back to check. I simply can't wrap my head around someone who picks and chooses which facts are ok to accept. ~creepy~

                Oh, and here you go;

                BOXINGSCENE.COM; "Boone is the only fighter who can say that he dropped Sergey Kovalev"
                Journeyman veteran Darnell Boone, who is still one of the most dangerous opponents in the game for an up and coming prospect, was used as a sparring partner for IBO/WBA/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, who returns this Saturday night against Dominic Wade at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.

                "He faced more serious competition against Darnell Boone in October 2010, when he had to fight all eight rounds, and was dropped en route to a split decision win."
                What is Sergey Kovalev? Explaining what we could find out about Sergey Kovalev.

                  I don't get why people use the boones fights like it has any significance to the present day...

                  Just because prospects struggle with journeymen early in their career, it really has no bearing on them years later.. Young fighters learn from those experiences and get better. Long run, they are much better having those types of fights.. Without them you end up like cintron, bojado, dulorme, etc

                    Even if he's winning he's going to be careful as **** all 12. He's not ******.
                    In sparring you tend to take chances on things but Ward will mind his p's and q's all 12.

                      I Like Ward and all but I just can't see him lasting 12 rounds with this monster. At some point Ward's chin will fail him.
