Wrong.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA, October 12, 2010 — This past Saturday night in Atlanta, Light Heavyweight sensation Sergey Kovalev ran his record to a perfect 10-0 with 9 KO’s as he was taken the distance for the first time in his career and scored an eight round decision over veteran upset specialist Darnell Boone.
This was a great learning experience for Kovalev, who was sent to canvas for the first time in his career in round seven but stood up to win victory.
Most at the time (before he was popular) claim that he was lucky to get the decision in that fight.
Try re-reading the article. It couldn't be more clear. Dramashow was clueless.Comment

Ward has a dozen ways to win..... Kovalev has 2.
Try again !
In saying that, it only takes 1..... Kovalev is great at 1, and not bad at the other either.
A great fight..... but you " easy " guys are in for a shock.Comment

What's really scary about Kovalev vs. Ward, is that this is the closest we've come to a 50/50 mega-fight in boxing, and what if the PPVs are less than Canelo vs. Smith? What would that do to the sport? Look at all the people who claim to be GGG fans. How many people purchased GGG vs. Lemieux? If Kovalev vs. Ward draws the same as GGG vs. Lemieux, what happens next?Comment

You say this as if you're Nostradamus or something. It's as close to a 50/50 title fight as we've seen in boxing in quite a while. It doesn't make you a genius because you picked Ward a year ago. It's not like predetermining the exact final score in any team oriented sporting event.Comment
