if he wants the fight NOW then take the money NOW, if he wants more money then give up some weight....
Love the way you spin it like Golovkin just invented Middleweight to disadvantage Canelo. Pure genius, man, you oughta go into politics.

GGG fans no his division is poop. You like a guy who has not fought anyone worth watching! Like I said easy for a OK boxer to look great vs dudes with already poor records. He fights dudes with 3 or 4 losses in their belt. But he's the best fighter in boxing. He fought nobody! He had one undefeated guy passed few years and he barely had 20 pro fights. Don't see all the hype about him. Alvarez fight all big names. Smith wanted him so that's why that happened. Smith was undefeated till Alvarez. Don't matter the weight Canelo goes. And he will meet ggg in his crappy class and still gonna beat dat a**!!

Everything he said was true though! That's his excuse for ducking. Canelo said F it I'll come to u then. If there ain't a 155lb class it can be done when they fought obviously and he won't meet so Canelo will come to him. Who's ducking who? Does seem like now days boxers have all these standards. When I was coming up fighters just fought! Lol. Bring them old days back!!

how many times has canelo fought above 155 ???
thats 5 pounds, i understand ggg being a mandatory and forcing the fight at 160, but thats no longer the case, and dont forget what they stated not long ago "we will go down in weight if canelo vacates"...

Canelo said he will fight him next at 160, he doesnt want him to come down to 155 anymore. I can show you video of canelo saying that. So i ask again, why wait? I thought canelo was born ready lol.

                so only canelos word counts???
ggg and his team have said a lot of things but you just dont care...
regardles of what anyone said, canelo is getting aclimated to 160 in order for the fight to happen at 160, if ggg doesnt like it then send an offer to a lower weight for a fight in may... but ggg already made it public he wants none of canelo at any other weight...

Sure. If it's a voluntary defense or a non title fight Canelo and Golovkin can put in any stipulations they like. Were it not for the fact that Canelo appears to have already stated that he'll fight GGG at 160 I'd have thought that a 157 catchweight would be eminently fair.

yes, the fight will be at 160 with titles on the line, but again if ggg wanted this fight earliear he could have offered to go down to make it happen, he seems to be ok waiting in order to make it at 160...

From what I recall there was never an option earlier. Oscar didn't turn it down because of the weight he turned it down because of Canelo's 'legal issues' (a contract dispute with his previous promoter) or somesuch. Or at least that's what was said. But yeah, maybe you're right. Maybe if GGG had said 155 the hold-ups would have just disappeared. Maybe GGG knows he'd be dangerously weakened at 155 and doesn't want to take the risk. I don't claim to know. All I do know is that no contract was previously offered and the recent offer was for a fight next September if I got it straight, at 160lbs with the purses still under negotiation.
