I believe everyone thinks that, but who the hell knows right now. Reminds me of Mayweather before fighting Pac. Impossible to get a read.
The quote "We do not know what their plans are" pretty much says it all.

Valcarcel is in a hurry to get a title shot for his fellow Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.

Of course he is now he has no belt there and Golovkin isn't his mandatory. It was all very predictable. It didn't take a genius or fortune teller to see that Canelo has no intention of being a 154 fighter, it was a temporary move to buy himself time and not fight Golovkin.

Besides, 154 is a pretty good division and too many high risk-low reward fights there for Canelo's liking. Things are probably a bit easier at MW apart from Golovkin.

Can anyone tell me that if Canelo moves up to Middleweight and vacated the title at 154 if he gets an automatic title fight with Saunders?

That's great news! I'm looking forward to watch him fight Lomanchenko & Roman Gonzalez! Maybe GGG when he's 40yrs old.
