GGG is comfortably out of reach for Floyd and Floyd purposefully uses GGG to bring up his guys like Jack. He said he wants to give back and he needs to put the focus on the fighters he's pushing not himself.

I don't think even the GGG haters will say Floyd beats him. There's just absolutely no way. He's too big. He just walked down Brook and ate his punches. There's no way Floyd who struggled with Maidana (a much weaker, smaller, shorter, lesser reach, and less skilled boxer) could beat Golovkin. And you know what? Nothing wrong with that. He's outweighed by like 15-20 pounds come fight night.


Same scenario applies for Ward, who is too big for GGG now. Weighed like 186 in his last fight... no way would there be any reason for them two to fight at this point.

Here's the thing, I'm not sure if Mayweather can beat Golovkin. Hell, maybe he is too big. For a minute I thought the same thing about Canelo. We all saw how that turned out. If Floyd was bigger, or even if he had more power and non brittle hands, GayLoveKin would not go the distance. Floyd would frustrate and knock him out. The difference being that GayLoveKin has been at 60 his entire career, and let's be honest....he didn't look good at the weight in, and he didn't look good in the fight. Imo he would be quite comfortable at 168, which would mean a fight with Ward would not be out of reach. Why does Floyd have to move up 5 weight classes to be considered great, Golovkin's never done a single thing to prove his worth but gets praises from everyone?
