Golovkin said prior to the fight that he was going to make it a 'street fight' with Brook. Brook was almost knocked down in the 1st, had his face broken in the 2nd, was knocked down (ref didnt call it as such) in the 3rd. At what point are you suggesting "it wasn't going so well"? Im guessing you're basing this off the fact that Brook landed that one clean shot in the 2nd, to which Golovkin responded by waving his arms at Kell, inviting more. Golovkin beat the sh it out of Brook from the opening bell until the towel came in from Brook's corner.

When G used his job it was a no contest. When he stopped and was trying so hard for the KO he looked ordinary.

When he just started jabbing and took his time he KOed him in the same round.

Brook gave a good account of himself in that fight but should had never taken that fight. This was no different of a circus fight ala Canelo/Khan

Ofc ,man when you have MW power puncher fighting WW it can end every secound,I would say Brook had some succes with rolling ggg jabs and counter,Im not trying to say it was competetiv,it was blow out but brook had succes in boxing GGG,in pure boxing level.

I'm sorry Canelo was hurt for maybe 10 seconds against Cotto's brother when he was like 19, and he recovered great and knocked him out. I'm not going to hold that against him at the age of 19, much like no one holds the Mayweather loss against him.
