As a GGG fan and almost a hater of Canelo (not a hater tough, i can give him credit when he deserves it), GGG didn't look good against Brook, you can make an argument about him not caring about power, but the truth is that he was getting tagged by Brook and he was just trying to walk trough him and it wasn't as easy as it was with other fighters that couldn't make him feel power like Monroe, so you can do that on a strong, young fighter like Canelo, he can capitalize those mistakes.
I still feel GGG would beat him, but i can understand why people feels he can loose the fight.Comment

Canela needs to get used to 160!
If the increase in weight gives him a more solid core, stronger build and ups his punching power a lil and helps out his stamina due to not weight draining then it could get very interesting!
I can see Canela using the be first and last and clinch when close and hit off the break to the body everytime game plan!!
I say Chepo gets Canela to hold when GGG corners him or gets him on the ropes! GGG gets frustrated and annoyed when his rhythm is disrupted!
I will give GGG credit for beating Canela if or when they fight since I rate Canela highly as a solid elite fighter!Comment

Well let's see how it ranks up. Who has the edge in what?
Power - about even, maybe slight edge to GGG
Overall defense - Canelo isn't a defensive wizard, but he has shown some solid D and counter punching. More so than GGG. Edge goes to Canelo.
Resume / Experience - Canelo by far and it's not even a question.
Footwork - GGG is pretty good going forward, cuts off the ring nicely. GGG.
Speed - GGG isn't super fast, but I think he edged Canelo a little bit, but I'd say Canelo has better timing, but speed would go to GGG.
I think it's pretty even.Comment

Forgot chin. So far both of their chins have been pretty rock solid. Idk if either guy has really been hurt in their careers. So that's pretty even.Comment
