Careers get boosted by results in the ring, not by how many people saw you fight in a shit fight
NONE!!! But that's because the fight was TERRIBLE and boring to watch. I tell you who it did help out! Joseph Diaz! He looks like the real deal and will be winning a major belt here shortly. The FW division is STACKED with some serious talent.

Not that I believe that this was the reason for Saunders not fighting Rosado but it is well played given that he has put the pressure back on Canelo and Golden Boy by claiming that they can't be trusted, a point which they can't really argue after vacating the WBC belt.

So basically Saunders has provided a believable reason for avoiding those fights and taking the fight against a relatively unknown fighter. It doesn't make complete sense but he has shifted some of the pressure back onto GBP and Canelo.

Casuals want brutal KOs or beat downs - which is why a certain fighter's stock has risen exponentially the last 4 years. Watch what happens if GGG goes the distance twice in a row - hype balloon will deflate fast. Worse if he loses.

Casuals will abandon that ship quick. Watch this happen if/when Walters loses to Lomachenko.
Agree 100% with everything you said. It's really sad. And when a fighters loses they basically abandon ship.

That's why I said earlier if he looks GOOD. The results are what ppl remember. But Canelo brought the fans! It's the fighters job to entertain them! I would rather look my BEST in front of 250,000+ fans than 15-20K.

That was pretty cleaver. And to be fair GB/Canelo deserved it. They do look like they can't be trusted. But that's 99% of ALL promotors most are just not dumb enough to admit it in front of everyone.

He is also kind of baiting Canelo as well here, trying to create animosity so he can drum up a potential fight.

All he needs to do now is show that he can be equally clever inside the ring.

I can see where he is coming from. Out of the Rosado, BJS, Monroe triangle..i imagine Rosado was the one who had the best chance of getting the Canelo fight should he of won his scheduled fight.

Although i think BJS facing Rosado would of been a good fight for him.

How come no one critisize Canelo for not signing a contract, its clear that BJS wants to fight him next. The ducking here is ridiculous!!!!!

BJS has always been personable and came off honest. It's what makes him frustrating sometimes - he'll tell it like it is, then he'll pull the same ****. 'I'm ready for Golovkin' 'But I said I need 18 months and that was 5 months ago...".

Most of the time he's spot on though. I'm still a fan of his.
