Most WW do weigh around 165 and most SWW way around 170. Everyone seems to fight 1-2 weight classes below their walk around weight. Outside a few like Pac, Floyd, and GGG who fight really close to their actual weight.

Golovkin was 24 when he turned pro,which isn't ancient by any modern standards. He actually moved down in weight to begin his career, as 165 is closer to super middle than middle, and many of his amateur luminaries (Durrell,Bute,etc.) Campaign at that weight. I do agree that he is trying to wait on a Canelo payday, though.

Really? In that case then yeah it is time to start moving up but again we know he is waiting for Canelo it is obvious because that is his biggest payday possible
