I don't believe that he never had to go above his C game. He wouldn't have let Maidana or Castillo run him that close if he didn't have to. I do agree there's some fights he was in autopilot though.


Some of his interviews are extremely bizarre when you think about it. He gets asked a question and answers with something that is not even close to the topic he was asked. It's not even like there's a hint that he's going to go off topic. He answers with the tone and mannerisms that he's answering the question but it's completely unrelated.
