        I would take Pryor over most Lightweights and Junior welterweights, including Chavez, Whittaker, Mayweather, and Tszyu. Maybe not Duran....well, I'd need to see it. RIP Champ. Easily on of my favorites.

          Damn, this is a shocker! I still have the email from his wife from years ago that I saved where she asked Aaron questions I had about his career. She is a very nice lady and this is sad knowing she is hurting bad right now.

            Loved this guy. I will I'll never forget his 2 memorable bouts with Arguello and his trainers famous words between rds. Pass me the bottle , not that one , the one I mixed. Prayers to his family.RIP great one and thank you.

                What sad news. I had no idea he had been in ill health.
                The Hawk would have been great in any era. If you wanna see what Pryor was all about, watch his incredible destruction of Lennox Blackmoore.
