I was lovin Hawk Time, wish it could have lasted but he self-destructed.
Did anybody else notice how big shots had no effect on him whatsoever?

Even when he was making offers to try and fight Pryor.

Alas, never let the truth get in the way of a good myth. Regularly turning down fights doesn't quite fit the narrative of an avoided fighter.

Is full of really interesting stuff.

                    - Sly being his promoter and also sleeping with his ex-wife.

                    - Getting drunk with Leon Spinks and wandering the streets of Soviet Russia.

                    - Some traumatic stuff as a child with a neighbor.

                    - His new wife saving his life and getting him off drugs.

                    RIP champ.

Very, very sad. Will be re-watching the Arguello fights tonight in his memory.
