You think Floyd cherry picking weak opponents was worth over 30 Mill then??

    Hahahahaha

No it wasn't. But he had all the gullible morons paying for that crap due to having the same skin colour. Hook line and sinker.

Guys like Broner and Garcia think they're rock stars worth 8 figures. How many times did they fight this year and against who? Say what you want about Floyd, but he took a lot of risks, kept winning and knew how to market himself. He was setting records. These younger fighters don't even have a fanbase yet.
Broner and Garcia will bring enough that they deserve that type of payment because they would bring more money than that in a Pacquioa fight. The fight would've been supported by HBO or SHO had they went that route instead of Vargas. But everything else I agree with.

I'm with u bro!! Fights against Broner or Danny would have made way more noise than this **** with Vargas.

He is a bronze medalist and probably had some following even then, but I'm just assuming. Either way he came to fight, he did earn his way eventually.

So yeah, for those who don't want to earn it and keep turning down fights, let them sit for a few months while those who every time you call is ready to fight whoever wherever, those are the fighters who need to be rewarded and need to be showcased

Had a golden opportunity to fight Pacquiao but you have guys turning that down, not understand that was a opportunity and a golden ticket to instant stardom. You beat Pacquiao you put yourself in a great position but instead guys turned that down and ask for more money then they pretend like they wasn't offered the fight

              Agreed.....

This Vargaas **** show is a picture of greed that WILL backfire. Bob's lowering Pac's stock, and worsening a relationship with HBO. Should've given the guy's what they were worth.

After promoter's managers, trainers, sparring partners and taxes take all their money fighters don't get much, so I understand taking everything you can get as a fighter. The shelving idea is exactly why a guy like Haymon can exist, and promoters can't get the best guys to sign to them because they can just start their own promotional company and Haymon can advise them on how to promote their fights. No need anymore. Floyd is saying this right now because he's not making as much as a promoter as he could dealing with fighters not advised by Haymon, but nowadays the promoter is a worthless position outside of their license.

dont blame and hate on these fighters, blame the guy they learned it from.

its funny watching the same posters comment about fighters are getting too much money but these are the same fighters backing canelo up with his flat fee demand. lol
