If the WBA says he gets a 60-40 split then he should and probably will accept it. However if the WBA says he gets the standard 75-25 split that the full champion usually gets he should hold out for his due as the champion. If Jacobs won't accept what the WBA dictates then he loses his piece of the title and that title is a big part of his fame and drawing power. GGG will be the only WBA champ and he can move on to Saunders who says he will fight GGG in December for all the belts.
GGG's team should just do a 60/40 split already

Haymon has you guys all confused about what the role of a promoter is.I think he'd make more with a 60/40 split. With a 75/25 split you take PBC promoter money out of it. No point of them bidding if Jacob is only getting 25%. Make it a 60/40 split and that gives a PBC promoter incentive to bid. So 75/25 and you have K2 not having to bid more than 4 mil with GGG gettin $3 mil. Make it a 60/40 split and suddenly you have PBC promoters entering the bidding process and pushing the price of the fight up. So lets say the winning bid is now $6 mil. That's $3.6 mil for GGG with the 60%
Hint: K2 would want to secure the fight for the lowest bid possible. If they could secure the fight for $4 million, thats a $2 million savings that goes straight into their pocket, as opposed to a likely 20% share of the extra 600 grand in your scenario.
Extra Hint: $2 million is more than $120,000Comment

Why would ggg accept less money.. He is guaranteed that cut by sanctioning body's rules..
Unless the wba honors the Jacobs' request of a different split, Golovkin has no reason to take anything less that 75/25.. Let jacobs vacate if he doesn't like the purse bid splitComment
