Let GGG make less but beat better opponents otherwise he will be fighting Uber drivers the rest of his career. If taking a small financial loss guarantees fights with Jacobs and Canelo then he should do it. Take a small hit upfront to potentially make superstar money in the long run.

and so it begins. money isnt the issue, can people not read between the lines and realise that fighters dont want to fight GGG cause they think they will lose, they change the goalposts with what they want to avoid having to fight him. people making out jacobs would snap the hand off if he got a few percent more of the split smh, whys he asked for an interim fight too...

I think he'd make more with a 60/40 split. With a 75/25 split you take PBC promoter money out of it. No point of them bidding if Jacob is only getting 25%. Make it a 60/40 split and that gives a PBC promoter incentive to bid. So 75/25 and you have K2 not having to bid more than 4 mil with GGG gettin $3 mil. Make it a 60/40 split and suddenly you have PBC promoters entering the bidding process and pushing the price of the fight up. So lets say the winning bid is now $6 mil. That's $3.6 mil for GGG with the 60%

Who says Jacobs hasn't been offered a 40% split or something close to it? None of us know. My guess is that Jacobs just wants a very high amount of money and the "split" doesn't matter.

Why? He's entitled to his 75. By rules.

I don't get why people think fighters who risk their lives have to take less than they deserve. 75-25 or 66-33 is fair. 60-40 isn't.

Boxing has become a charity for ducks. Don't even understand why people want to see a fight with a reluctant fighter in it. Jacobs would simply take a knee as soon as he's cornered and stop fighting, then take his $3 mil paycheck.

Why are you people tolerating this? The negotiations should halt at once.
