I think the Eubanks never expected Golovkin to try and fight Jr., and overestimated their leverage in negotiations thinking Golovkin had no other options.

Jacobs has been Golovkin's mandatory for a long time now. He has claimed to want Golovkin. He runs his mouth a lot. He complains about not being a star. If he's still looking for interim fights, I think that's way worse than the Eubanks ****ing up their leverage.

I can't tell a man what to accept if he feels he's worth more than that. Canelo offered GGG 10 million and he turned it down. Mayweather offered Pac 40 mil and he turned it down. If you feel you're worth more than they're offering, stick to your guns. Jacobs has already said before that he wants to go after the other belts so he could be a bigger name and demand more money when him and GGG fight. I can't knock him for that.

Ummmm this thread is about Jacobs wanting an interim match first before GGG. The purse split thread is somewhere else.

But he's not worth more than the 2 Quillins he passed on, he's worth a lot less. Turns out Pac was worth a LOT more, and Ggg may be worth a lot more, nobody knows which is why flat fees are a non starter. And Jacobs is also a mandatory given a shot at the main man, and stands to lose his regular belt if he walks away. There's not many other belts to pick from, only Saunders

Not a single person in this thread except 1 troll (trolls are not people) accused GGG with anything but all these B-ums saying "still Haymon fans say GGG is ducking Jabobs."

You should have checked in yesterday, the usual suspects were putting in hard work to spin this as Ggg ducking Jacobs. See that feeble "Did Ggg forget his pen?" for example.

So much for Danny wanting to be a superstar. This is the fight that he has to take and win in order to back up all that talk that he has been doing

Mendoza seemed to slip up by mentioning that team Jacobs talked about having an interim bout. I don't think he was trying to call him out but this makes Jacobs look pretty bad.

I am still holding onto hope that this fight happens though. If it doesn't, I will never get my hopes up again for a Golovkin opponent.

They didn't enter this thread because it didn't fit into the agenda they had going on. Believe me friend there were plenty of threads bashing Golovkin.

Yesterday was a sad day for the Jacobs defense team after this article came out.
