Wilder must be up there, Ortiz too. David Haye too, he rocked Valuev with a left hand and also put Chisora down which was the start of the end with a left hand from a southpaw position, basically the opposite of what he's strongest in. Chisora isn't great but very tough and nobody has done that to Chisora before or since.

Still can't write Wlad off as a puncher though. 53 career knockouts. Not many will stand up to his power if he fights with a bit of aggression like he did against Pulev.

Many reckon David Price can really hit, it's just the rest of his game that lets him down.

Right now, Wilder. Even despite sloppy technique he still brings the thunder. Ortiz and Povetkin have heavy hands but they use timing and technique to maximize it. Wilder would be unreal if he has better technique to support his natural power.

1/ Joshua ..has the heaviest hands so much he has k.os without actually hitting the opponent but the opponents glove the force they go down.

2/ Wlad Klitchko...hes still the best one punch guy when even late rounds.

3/ Wilder....a great over hand right from hell

4/ Ortiz..he seems to fit that part

5/ Haye..fast explosive and is now carrying more heat due to bigger weight behind his punches.

Right now it has to be and I am going to have to go with Deontay Wilder. Not only is he knocking guys out, he is doing it with single punches landed. All the while leaving his opponents frozen, paralyzed and unconscious on the canvas in the process.

Surprised no one mentioned Stiverne. Especially with Areola on there.

Generally heavy handed would be Ortiz, Haye.. Rest of the HWs use their technique to set punches up..

Sorry Red, don't agree Wilder is heavy handed.. Wilder is more a winger and Haye and Ortiz are imo generally heavy handed.. The others setup their power punches..
