can anyone give me examples of fights where the wba actually changed the 75-25 spilt? these damn alphabet orgs and their constant ****** flip flopping of their own rules.
If the WBA changes the split.......

It's never been ILLEGAL WTF are you talking about? Are you really going to be a bozo and ask me such a ****** question?
Answer me this since when has it been illegal for the WBA Champion to face the WBC Champion?
I think you're confused about what happened friend so I'm going to school you for a bit and maybe you'll learn something.Comment

I know the IBF did it a few times for Klitschko fights, but I cant recall the WBA ever doing it......Comment

otechnically they shouldnt have done it, but nobody was hurt by that ruling. They did it to appease Cotto by facilitating Cotto-Martinez and also to throw Rubio a bone so he wouldnt sue over the Chavez Jr drug testing fiasco. Nobody had their purse reduced because of it........
This moron (MotorCity Cobra) doesn't know what he's talking about and just speaking from his ass. Please don't validate his idiotic stance and misinterpretation on what happened.
WBC doesn't rank fighters who are champions in other organizations. But the WBC has no right to stop Golovkin from pursuing the Interim or full title if he comes to an agreement with the champion.Comment

changing the normal rules isn't special? ok buddy. good semantics practice.Comment

I don't care if they both get paid minimum wage, as long as the damn fight gets made. Purse bid...no purse bid, 75-25...60-40...50-50, Idgaf. I want to see the damn fight. Barclays...MSG...parking lot of the White Castle, I want to see THE DAMN FIGHT!Comment

This is the moment where you realized you ****ed up friend after challenging THE DON (all caps when you spell the man's name.)
All the organizations don't rank champions in other organizations that is true but that's not how Golovkin became mandatory. He and Rubio came to an agreement to face one another, it was not mandated.
Rubio lost his Interim WBC title to Golovkin. Per WBC rules the Interim Title and Regular Title most be combined. So unless you're suggesting the WBC should strip Golovkin because he's the WBA Champion he would have to be mandated to face Canelo. You're also confused because you don't understand what an Interim title, you think it's some inferior title.
Now the only part where WBC broke their rules was when they allowed Martinez to face Cotto before facing Rubio. That has nothing to do with Golovkin.
Same thing with Linares and Zlanticantin at Lightweight. Linares is WBC Champion in Recess so he's allowed a mandatory shot at WBC Champion Zlantacin even though he's the WBA Champion.Comment
