de la hoya won that fight. the only reason that its so contraversial is because the judges score cards were rediculouse, right winner but by to large of a margin

I disagree more like a draw if anything because Oscar only thru about 40 punches around as well as Pernell and Pernell landed more and at a higher percantage. And that knockdown , but I respect your opinion because it was close. But for somebody to say Oscar clearly won is biased and he def looked akward especially for a 33 yr old Pernell.People let Pernell's style make them not recognize his greatness RJJ was commentating and gave credit because he realizes how great he is defensively.
