    When bute was plying his trade, ward and froch were at the top of the 168 pile. With GGG he's the mountain everyone else has to try and climb.

        Now, it's entirely fair to think that GGG is a better fighter than Bute. I think GGG is far better than Bute, even though he hasn't proven it against a good fighter, I still see enough in him to say that. But, that's not what the OP is saying and in respect to what he's saying, there are some parallels.
        GGG hasn't had an Andrade. Andrade got robbed of a KO over Bute and Andrade had previously been whitewashed 12-0 by another champion from Bute's division.

        So GGG clearly is above Bute although I do agree on other parts of your post.
