Well, we see what fights have been made now that Canelo isn't fighting again this year, so if he fights three times next year should we expect some crappy fights?
Hopefully Canelo turns into a one fight per year fighter for the sake of HBO boxing.

10mil is usually 2 years work for Golovkin, and likely double what he made in his last fight

to call that offer unthinkable is just silly..... the fact is, Golovkin could have taken that fight, but he chose not to

Golovkin has never made the slightest effort, or made a single concession, in order to make a meaningful fight..... it's like he has 0 interest
If you add up ALL of GGG's pro fights you mike get to $10 million. He only started making $2 million 3 fights ago.

And what's that say about GGG when a GREAT fight with Jacobs isn't going to happen because no one will pay enough for it. GGG can't even get ppl to bid enough to make it happen!!!!

WBA 75/25 split! With MAX $5 million bid. Al Haymon ain't gonna bid on it to give 75% to GGG!!!

      $3.75 Million for GGG

      $1.25 Million for Jacobs

Jacobs then tells CHEAPO to F'k-OFF!!! And tells GoldenBoy they'll GLADLY take 75/25 split with Canelo!!!

I am honestly indifferent to Canelos career. I'm so over the GGG fight too. Good fighter but a protected cash cow that has made an ass of his own reputation.

There still are some good fights coming up!

With it this late in the year I'm pretty sure GGG will end up fighting Alfonso Blanco or someone else who will take a $500K payday.

GGG won't be fighting this year

Is that GGG's next opponents??? Ohh wait! it can't be! their all too known and GGG couldn't afford to pay them!

            GGG would be more like...

Richar Abril @160, Cletus Seldin @160, and Taras Shelestyuk @160!

Looks about right! Bringing Brook up TWO weight classes was a little too tough for GGG. So he got to go further down the list.

put it this way, you certainly can't accuse the ugly red kid of ducking

first Golovkin refused to fight Canelo over the weight, then he refused to fight Canelo over the money SMH
At least we NOW know the Floyd at 154 was straight BS LIE!!!

He forgot to include that fight with Floyd would have to be a 50/50 SPLIT! Or at LEAST 60/40.

And GTards would say Floyd is DUCKING!!! GGG came down to 154! He deserved at least 50/50!! Heck GGG deserved 70/30 split because he drained himself for Floyd.

That's why GGGTards are the DUMBEST fans on the planet!

Yes your right. Canelo is no Mayweather. But last I checked 300,000 is three times as much as 97,000. And he did that with someone like Smith who is unknown. If it had been someone at least someone familiar to the public then you can add another 100,000 buys to that. Not spectacular but decent.
What I'm trying to say is being the B-side you have to start somewhere. Canelo gave up alot of money on the Mayweather and cotto fights cause he wanted those fights for his legacy. He won one and lost the other, it comes with the territory. Now if little g really wants the Canelo fight then he's gonna have to give up some money, he's not gonna get anywhere near what Canelo is getting.
He can always make up for it in future ppv's if he wins cause the winner of this fight will be a ppv star.

Yes all belts are a joke. The two most prestigious belts are the WBC and the WBA.
The WBA has three champions per division and the WBC has a regular champ, a diamond champ, a regional, a fecorbox champ, and in some cases a youth champ. WTF is that???
Last I checked Diego de la Hoya was no youth, he's 22 years old. So yes, **** all them POS belts! Their worthless!
