Comments Thread For: Canelo Could Fight Three Times in 2017, Says Golden Boy Prez

According to Golden Boy Promotions President Eric Gomez, WBO junior middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (48-1-1, 34KOs) could very well fight three times in 2017, after the promotional company received confirmation that the injury to his right hand is not that serious.

Cannel doesn't seem to have enough excuses to not fight GGG. I hope he finally is able to backup his own words soon. He stated "i'll put my gloves back on and fight him now" when speaking of GGG when he defeated a POS Amir Khan. Well it's time to walk the walk!

Who the hell this lil red headed hoe going to fight 3 times a year. GGG been beaten all of them.

GGG's better throw that lil GB contract out of the window, he has no where else to run anyways , all roads lead to GGG the A SIDE.

Flat fee deal is a copout. At least offer the guy 70-30 or 65-35 and let the chips fall where they may.

There is always a ****** in every thread - cong**** you're today's winner

Who the **** in boxing would take a flat fee of 10 million when you could potentially earn 3 times as much with 30 to 40% of all the earnings

Use that pea brain please - the offer was not genuine and it was insulting

                Ugh.

Just fighting 3 times for the sake of it isn't needed at all. If its 3 more fights with opponents like Beefy (all due respect), then Saul can **** right off. I don't give a **** if he doesn't fight GGG, but there are other fighters out there who would warrant 51 000 people buying tickets to watch the contest live.
