  • When Jacobs vacates, what happens next?

Does the next person in line become the mandatory? And who is that? What is the process. And really what options does Golovkin have at this point? Likely no Jacobs, no Sanders, no Canelo, are there any options except moving up?

depends what the WBA does. They said they want to get rid of "regular" titles so if Jacobs vacates hopefully they just put the "regular" title to bed......

Vacates! Did I miss something? Is he being pressured to do so or are you guys implying that he would rather vacate than fight GGG?

Jacobs wants huge money !! Everyone seems to want life-altering money to get in the ring with GGG. Makes it sound as if they're already defeated. This is a good, fan-friendly fight that I was looking forward to.

Earlier this week Jacobs went to the WBA to request that they increase his portion of the purse split.

K2 has now asked the WBA to send the fight to purse bid. Many people feel that if K2 wins the bid there's no way Jacobs is fighting Golovkin on HBO for 25% of the bidded purse and will vacate his title instead.

Man is that ever disappointing. I was sure that this fight was going to go off without a hitch because it seemed as though both guys were Gung ho about it. Also, if Harmon wins a purse bid, GGG cannot fight on Showtime or PBC unless HBO granted him a one off (which would never happen).

Also to add to the ******ity apparently Jacobs team are requesting an interim bout before he fights GGG. Dude needs to just fight GGG or drop that fake title he's holding

erm, what happens next.. to begin with jacobs will be criticised. THen gradually, more and more people will say its GGG's fault, he should have made more concessions, then the majority will blame GGG for it a few weeks down the line.

I really don't understand what is going on with Jacobs I could swear he was serious about fighting GGG but soon as the negotiations start It looks like a different story.
