If Jacobs vacates, the WBA is still owed a mandatory. Here are the top 5 in the WBA @ 160;

2. Chris Eubank Jr.
3. Dmitry Chudinov
4. Rob Brant
5. Andrew Hernandez

I would imagine Bumlovkin would need to fight one of these guys and I just don't see that happening. Bumlovkin really has no place to go other than Lara or 168, IMO...

I've never heard a word from Blanco or his team. I'm surprised they haven't gone after GGG or Jacobs yet. Although I know very little about him, his physical attributes could provide a challenge. He doesn't seem any worse than Wade or Mora.

Jacobs wants huge money !! Everyone seems to want life-altering money to get in the ring with GGG. Makes it sound as if they're already defeated. This is a good, fan-friendly fight that I was looking forward to.

Isn't GGG allowed one fight per year off HBO? He's done the Monaco fights before I think while under HBO contract, at least several of which weren't televised.

I am not entirely sure about that because I read an article by Dan Raphael who said that GGG'S contract with HBO, made the fight an impossibility (he called it a non-starter) because of Haymon and his obligation to PBC and Showtime. We shall see.

That's what they said they were going to do since 2013 and yet here were are in October 2016 and it still hasn't happened, so who knows when it comes to the ******ed WBA.



In addition to the Super and Regular champions, the WBA already has an Interim champion in Alfonso Blanco, which he apparently won against in Siarhei Khamitski in October of 2015, Eubank jr had it and was even allowed to defend after Khamitski won it and then given to Blanco, for reasons only the WBA can invent.
