Thurman and the other guys at the top of the ww division might wanna get in there now with spence, not fully in his prime yet and they might have a chance now. Few more years and more big fights from now and spence will be the man in boxing.

For whatever reason, Thurman continues to ignore the fact that he could fight Spence next if he wanted. LOL. I don't know if Al Haymon is trying to get as many titles for fighters in his camp and then make most of the proceeds with unification bouts or what. I don't know what is going on, but I don't see how he thinks it's valid for Brook to fight Spence, but he isn't willing to make that fight himself. I don't think he is outright ducking, but something isn't right. Kell is not coming down unless that paycheck is fat, which is probably maximized with Khan, not Thurman or Spence. We'll see though.

And I agree with Thurman - Brook shouldn't of jumped up two classes, that was just ****** and unnecessary on his part. Being the good boxer and athlete that he is, he could of dominated WW and called out Mayweather instead of destroying his eye/career against GGG.
Kell moved up because none of the other Welters would face him. Getting most of the Americans into a ring it seems is like trying to get blood out of a stone. They don't want to face the best. Sad, but true.

          You're telling me.

But Brook will be beaten by Spence because he's beat no one but Porter. But Spence is the real deal without beating anyone of any note.

You couldn't make this crap up.

You're probably the biggest idiot on this site. Which is saying an awful lot.

Brook is better than Spence in every department and would beat him by stoppage.

After the Porter win Thurman went real quiet on Kell. He had a lot of respect for him. But now it seems he's left Welter, Thurman is talking an awful lot about him. Which is bull****.

Hell, he even turned down the opportunity to face Kell last time out. That's why he moved up to face Golovkin just so he could get a fight.

Indeed and also very skilled. The biggest thing with those guys is the ability to adjust. They are not just a one trick pony

Like others have noted, it seems Thurman wants no part of Spence. IMO Brook should try JMW first, leave WW behind. But if there was a Spence fight, I'd give Brook a better chance than Thurman. And IMO Brook would definitely beat Thurman.
