i dont see any reason why if a purse bid happened jacobs would pull out someone is going to bid a lot of money to host that fight.

If there was $3 mil available for Saunders there should be same available for Jacobs. Saunders doesn't bring more. Is he as well known as Brook?

That's not how logic works. Saunders can get $3m because he holds the last title that Golovkin needs. It has absolutely nothing to do with WHO holds the belt and how popular they are. If Artur Akavov magically beats Saunders, he'll be worth $3M as well.
Being undisputed world champ brings its own intrinsic value, it's not only about short term gains.

Danny's the challenger to the title - he's the one who needs the fight and gains something from it. That's just how the challenger/champion dynamic works, and that's why there are rules.

No Jacobs is not my favorite fighter even if you use the two quillens argument that's 4mil me personally I would not offer Jacobs nothing higher than 3.5 which they should be able to come up with from what HBO gives them for fight ticket sales, and site fees.. my point was clearly it has to be a low offer if Jacobs is asking WBA to change split....and if he is trying get 5mil which is the case you are making nobody bidding 15mil for the fight so he clearly trying get a better offer from k2 or more money when it goes to purse

regardless of all this jacobs should still get a pretty decent size purse regardless of ur spin. no idea what jacobs is asking for except for rumors but my guess is probably like 60/40. jacobs ggg fight is pretty big its going to be ggg most watched fight by far. i wouldnt say team ggg is cheaper then anyone else but i hope they are willing to pay jacobs a fair amount so ggg can finally start going in the right direction of making big fights.

I can't claim to know what the HBO budget looks like or how much they've allocated to GGG.

well we don't know the uk money situation so we can't speculate on it unless you want to waste time(point of boxingscene). jacobs already turned down 3 million so not sure why you saying offer him 3 million. he said it himself the amoutn they offered he could fight 2 quillin's and make the same, they need to step up their money. step up how much? 4 mill? 5 mill? a billion? ggg would still be ducking right? we all know he comes with unlimited money even though he's not popular....i totally get that

Good point in your 1st paragraph. NOW you should get why Jacobs is asking for what he is.

GGG wants to be undisputed world champ. while his fans already say he is, the FACT is he got the WBA belt in the boardroom not the ring. Beating Jacobs has more intrinsic value-using your words-then actual value. So Jacobs is trying to leverage that, as would any other fighter in his position.
