Not a prime Vitali, but Mayor Vitali vs Tyson Fury.
I think he would do better than Wlad did, but he might be too old. What do you guys think?
Vitali is a much different animal than Wladimir. I think Vitali stops Fury around nine or ten. Fury might even go the distance but I see Vitali throwing no matter what. I never saw him freeze up against anybody. Wlad is almost too cerebral, having to find his clear advantage at some point to give him confidence. Vitali always had confidence anyway. Definitely see Vitali winning either way, even now, although it would be closer due to his age.

^This. Vitali didn't go through mental blocks. He knew when to let a guy throw and waste his energy and when to pick him apart. And, pick them apart he did. Anyone who watched a large number of his fights knows they were akin to a cat with a mouse. He wasn't in any rush, he just cruelly and methodically dismantled them.
It was not the tense, mathematical type of thing that you see Wlad involved in. If Vitali stopped throwing, it was only due to an injury, in which case he would start using the other arm. An active Vitali wouldn't be bothered by anything Fury has to offer. Too strong a chin, too hard a punch, and too high an output.

Right on the mark. Of course, Fury's a big mouse, but it wouldn't stop Vitali. Fury just fought the right Klitschko for his style.
