When was the last time a champion fought a prospect? Spence is a contender now, but before the Algieri and Bundu fights, he was a prospect. So why would Thurman or any other champion fight a prospect, what's there to gain from it?

Thurman was not a champion when Spence called him out last year, Mayweather still had that belt and promised Thurman a shot at him if he beat Spence, and Thurman came out guns blazing with excuses.

Thats a big risk. In boxing you never know if a robbery is coming. Like it really wouldnt be worth it. Let's say vargas wins clearly and i mean clearly. If he were to get robbed it would make to sport look bad and also piss alot of people off. Its kinda risky. Robberies in boxing isnt rare.
