they both looked good fighting smaller men, one moved up and got found out, now im saying it might happen to the other one too. Maybe im wrong, we will find out soon enough! What is wrong with you, dude?
Andre Ward has already been towards the top of the p4p list and justifiably so unlike Broner who just had "potential". Broner had a Brandon Rios like size advantage on the 35 pounders but he'd have lost to Robert Guerrero, Rios, eventually Mikey and most definitely Crawford. Broner moved up all the way to 47 and still looked solid and bigger than Paulie and the same size as Chino. The truth is he's just really not that good... Ward on the other hand fought big 168ers (yeah, he was pretty huge himself but he didnt miss weight or struggle). Froch ended up north...so did Kessler. He hasn't struggled in the least since...I don't remember when. Broner was a one weight class massive size advantage pony. Like JCC Jr. Broner would have gotten that work had he moved up to just 140 vs Lucas or Danny. Likely wouldnt beat PEDerson, Ruslan, Khan...much less JMM. He'd be on a Mike Alvarado level.
Ward is a gold medal winning..weight class conquering, top 5 p4p boxing stud. Adrien Broner aspires to be Andre Ward when he grows up.Comment

Andre ward is better than Broner but I'd prefer to watch Broner. All of Wards punches seem the strength of a jab. Uppercut (upward moving jab), left hook (side moving jab). I'm a Mayweather fan but i cant get into dude....
Plus he kind of looks slow, like down syndrome or something. I can't talk, I've watched autistic kids fight on youtube...Last edited by niceyboo3; 10-05-2016, 03:41 PM.Comment

Dude! seriously!!?
I get it that you aren't a Ward fan but you cannot discredit his achievements.. Ward is an Olympic gold medalist, was the man of his division(SMW) & is now venturing into the next weight division & taking on the man of that division. Ward's skills and resume screams respect hands down..
Ward is everything that Broner will never be..
P.S - I'm not a Ward fan but he is one of the best boxers of this eraComment

Andre Ward hasn't loss a fight, amateur or pro, since he was 12 years old. You add that he's never walked into a fight beyond well prepared and this is an obvious troll post.Im going to get slated for this and called a troll but have a think about it and try and remember how highly rated broner was at one point.
Broner was considered the next great american, future P4P king and was undefeated because he was fighting people smaller than him. When he moved up and started fighting people his own size, he struggled to say the least.
Andre ward was a light heavyweight as a young amateur. People usually go up in weight after the amateurs as they naturally grow, ward has gone down, At supermiddleweight, ward was able to bully opponents, Carl 'Cobra' Froch even commented on how physically strong ward was.
Only now is ward fighting at his natural weight class, which is light heavyweight. Although ward is pretty sizeable at the weight, he cant really push people about who are smaller than him (although he has tried his best to fight smaller men even at his new weight- alexander brand and paul smith who are super middleweights). So my question is, now andre ward is fighting people his own size, is he going to start struggling?
Beyond that, Andre Ward wasn't "a light heavyweight as a young amateur"; in a division where the max weight was 179lbs, Andre Ward won his gold medal at full-breakfast weights of 171lbs-173lbs. Ward was a middleweight fighter, who fought outside of his weight class to give the USA Boxing team another chance at getting a medal (Andre Dirrell was arguably the #2 amateur in the US, who had the unfortunate reality of fighting in Andre's weight class).
Andre Ward's first 9 pro fights were at 160lbs for ****'s sake.Comment

Ward weighed mid 170s on fight night when fighting at SMW, he was 176 against Dawson. That's less than Golovkin rehydrates, if he was a natural LHW then Golovkin is a natural SMW.Im going to get slated for this and called a troll but have a think about it and try and remember how highly rated broner was at one point.
