the reason tehy dont walk through him is because when they try ward jumps into them and holds pay attention please. don't act like he's swiftly gliding around the ring out of danger and his opponent just can't pin him down. they get close he holds. thats cheating. learn the rules buddy.

Absolutely no chance. Everything he has said has made it very clear that he recognizes this is his biggest fight and his biggest threat.

Man that sucks. What's the point in fighting him then? It's hopeless. Surprised he's undefeated, cheating so blatantly that even a bitter old chap such as yourself can see it.

No, Kovalev doesn't seem overly confident for this fight, but now I think of it neither is Ward

Kov is well aware of how skilled Ward is and the importance of this fight. Win, lose or draw both guys will be in their best form, believe that. Can't wait.

If either fighter is overlooking the other, they are idiots

There is fan perception and then there is reality. Fans percieve that this fight is proving ground for Ward when in reality it is the opposite. The fighters know who the top dog is and that's Ward. Kovalev says so himself: "This is a big test for me to see how far I've improved in my boxing career."
So you see the only person who has a chance to overlook his opponent is Ward. Kovalev sees this as the biggest test of his career, Ward sees it as just another tough challenge.

Much like chilemba, ward doesnt have any power but can be an awkward customer. Is there a danger that kovalev is too relaxed for this fight, like he was chilemba, and it turns out to be trickier than expected?
With tough fights against proven power punchers like beterbiev, stevenson and perhaps usyk at cruiser around the corner, maybe kovalev could take his eye off the ball for this one, and ward may have a chance of pulling it off....
