Carl Froch is twice the fighter Ricky Hatton was. I'm not even a huge Froch fan but his boxing skill is under rated, he has an iron jaw and engine unmatched in boxing. Take nothing from that man.

As for Kovalev would walk through Kessler and Andre Dirrell I don't see that. Who has Kovalev defeated to suggest he'd overcome with relative ease against these guys, prime Kessler would match him toe to toe, no way could Kovalev walk forward without coming in behind his jab and actually working for openings.

Chilemba showed the blue print of how to deal with this guy and Ward will perfect it.

Well considering Dirrell gets dropped or hurt in numerous fights by former MW's or SMW's (Derek Edwards, Abraham, Capaerllo, Hanshaw, Degale) was terrified of vertically challenged Stevens & ran like Mo Farah with Alistair Brownlee & 'a look of love' in his eyes bearing down on him i don't consider Dirrell a threat. He capitulated like a demented seal pup against Abraham & Froch had him trying to blow him on numerous occasions! Even vanilla ice Caparello drained at SMW out slicked the clown..

Kessler might give him a few things to think about but i see that going the same way as Pascal. Calzaghe & Ward befuddled him with angles, athleticism, bigger arsenal & the ability to adapt. I have no doubt Kovalev could.

Only a very small minority think Froch is better, why you're taking their word as gospel is puzzling to me. Everyone thinks this is a fight for P4P supremacy so how can Kovalev be a bum if that's the case

yeah but you don't understand. if kovalev-ward looks exactly the same as kovalev-chilemba(without the knockdowns) a lot of people on here will have ward winning a wide decision or even saying schooled. they don't care what actually happens. they don't care who's landing cleaner. they are just fanboys. wards winning because he's ward is the best way to sum it up.

Disagree with some of those scores tho.

I had Groves ahead in both fights before the stoppage (second fight was closer) I had Taylor up by a single point before the stoppage. Pascal won 5. I think Kessler first fight beat him 7-5 & Dirrell threw away any lead IMO via the points he should have had deducted for his laughable antics! Magee & Westerman gave Foch hell! I mean when has Kovalev consistently struggled with his opposition like this over & over? Not one one of those men would win moe than two rounds against Kovalev IMO Can you imagine what Sergey would do to Groves & Dirrell? LOL They clinging onto his Chilemba whooping now too! Who hasn't had an awkward fight with Chilemba!

is funny, because when the fight was proposed and not signed yet, every ward fan was on kova's nuts (obviously to discredit GGG or lil G as they call him) but once the fight got signed they switched the chip and now Sergey is no better than froch. also they are trying to convince themselves that kova's fans don't want the fight to happen because "he'll loose and we are afraid" all this because we doubted ward would take it (and rightfully to do so, since ward inactivity and his diva antics outside of the ring in the past years)

well if it even looks similar ward is light years better then chilemba so yes the liklihood that it would be a ward decision is pretty good if thats the fight we get
