Floyd is a counter puncher. I expected the action to come from Manny. He tried early, it wasn't effective, so he fought conservatively. In the 4th when his traps weren't working, Manny seemed content to stay on the outside, which made for an uneventful technical boxing clinic by Mayweather.

what you posted is ******ed. Sweet Pea always had good fights. Why? because the fighters in his day and age knew how to deal with movement and wouldn't give up-they pressed and tried to win the only way they could they didn't try and outbox him because it was futile.

In the modern era, where losses don't hurt if you have a powerful promoter and a network deal, we watched ODH stop fighting against Tito and Canelo and Manny basically give up against Floyd. Meanwhile, guys like Maidana, Hatton, Cotto kept fighting. No problem with those fights.

It's disgraceful to see posters hate Floyd so much that they blame him for a terrible fight when the other guy stops fighting.

there's plenty of counter puncher out there that are exciting to watch. because they create actions. take marquez for example. hell even broner is more exciting. broner has the same defensive stance as floyd but the difference is broner moves forward while being defensive where as floyd moves backward.

hate floyd?? stop being so emotional about this. manny didnt give up. he was moving foward the whole time trying to create something out of nothing. and floyd did NOT fight the same way he didnt against manny like how he fought against cotto and maidana. just stop it! in the cotto and maidana fight floyd took more risk because those guys were a lot slower!

in the cotto and maidana fight, floyd actually press the actions at times. going to ropes at times. in the pac fight, floyd clinched and hold everytime manny comes in. i mean the crowd were even booing for crying out loud.

Manny stopped fighting. the punch output suggests this, if you disagree fine with me.

Lets just place blame where it lies.

you have no idea why the crowd was booing. did you ever think maybe they were booing at Manny for not fighting?

because floyd kept backing and holding. how do you expect someone to keep throwing when their opponent is not engaging? manny wasnt gonna waste his energy by doing that. and this is a dead topic but throw in the shoulder injury. actually they were booing everytime floyd grab and hold. will post the video if you want to see it for yourself. they were also booing at floyd when he was announced as the winner. were they booing at manny instead?

Manny lost, simple. Castillo & Maidana put tremendous pressure on Floyd. PAC couldn't and now they want to call him chicken. PAC took some head shots and got discouraged. He is one dimensional.
