    Why no talk of Klitschko-Ortiz?

Ortiz has been Fury's number one contender for a year and has been waiting for the Fury-Klitschko rematch to happen so he gets his title shot. Yet everybody else is mentioned as a Klitschko opponent for the vacant title.
    Is Ortiz too dangerous?

It should happen if the vacant title is involved.

          His options are...
Fighting Joshua = big sales, winnable fight.
Fighting Ortiz = lose by KO, but at least no one will be watching to see it.

Has Ortiz picked up another promoter since leaving Golden Boy?

Ortiz is a high risk fight for anybody, his management is negotiating a lucrative deal with Hearn at the moment, for the Joshua showdown in Britain, likely. This has also been confirmed by soul survivor who's a member here and close friend of Joshua.

Nope. He is NOT a free agent. Amateur promoter Dade simply purchased the remaining 50% of his contract and they are now the sole promoter. Ortiz is likely about to lose his number 1 contender status and Interim WBA title stripped for not fighting his mandatory Ustinov after the purse bid.

Ortiz has no major promoter. He was fighting on HBO because he was with golden boy they have no reason to invest in him now. So he has no network backing. And the one shot he had at getting a big fight was to become the mandatory for the fury klit winner by beating Ustinov. He's a cheater who was busted roiding so Wilder and other have the excuse to not fight him. He don't bring money to the table, he's a cheater, he has no network, and he's not a mandatory. Plus he's damn near 40. In other words Ortiz is phuked. Klitch can make more money and get back a world title by beating Joshua. The risk vs reward means Ortiz will be left out in the cold by all the top heavyweights.
