Canelo beats BJS by SD same old story
Fk off with that noise. I've been watching him just about as long as he's been getting televised fights. I was a big believer in him but he's straight-up ducked GGG and hasn't made any efforts to do anything meaningful since Lee. Great boxer who if frittering away his talents.

Saunders literally does nothing better then elite fighters Canelo has already beaten. Not one thing! He's a bum euro and one of the worst paper Champs today. He's going to cash himself out to sell off his belt against either Canelo or GGG if he doesnt get stripped along the way before that. Either way he won't have that belt much longer. The fools hyping this guy like he has a chance against Canelo are the same ones hyping up Smith up until Canelo dominated him. The difference in class between these phony euro paper Champs and the best world class fighters is huge. They fight laughable opponents in the UK then the moment they come to the US or step up the level of competition they get exposed.

BJS is brilliant technically, in a different league to Smith, bigger man than Canelo as well, if Liam Smith makes 9 rounds against Canelo, then BJS makes it all the way and I think its close on the scorecards.

Cotto beat Sergio and Geale. A gimpy sergio and Geale are both much better fighters then Saunders. Before he fought Lee for the paper belt he fought a guy with a 17-27-2 record. That's not a typo! Saunders record is nothing but smoke and mirrors fighting no named bums in the UK. Hard core boxing fans don't even know most of these guys you fought and the fight before your title shot you faced a guy who didn't win 29 of his pro fights. Typical euro fraud without a single elite skill set that will get ripped in half by the first top fighter he faces. Class matter in boxing Canelo, GGG, etc are more proven against higher class opponents.

Smith didn't win a single round and took a massive beating all 9 rounds. No clue how long Saunders last and how much a beating he is willing to take but i know he ain't winning. And you are over rating how brilliant technically Saunders is based against him fighting inferior non ranked opponents. Prospects everyday look brilliant against bums too. But most get exposed when they jump up to facing world class opponents something Saunders has not faced. Canelo has beaten better technical fighters who do everything Saunders does but better and at a world class level. Stop being fooled by smoke and mirrors resumes overseas.

Style wise it is the fight Saunders should be targeting.

I can accept Lara is a better boxer than Saunders (obviously) but BJS is bigger and Canelo's feet are slow.

It would be competitive IMO. Weird how a lot of posters have all of a sudden reverted to the all Brits are bums sentiment based on a welterweight getting splattered and a European level fighter losing against an elite fighter. Nonsense. Worst still without those two putting themselves out there - what exactly would we have had to watch over the last few months? All these British champions with world title belts are different levels. Some of them aren't really world class - judge them on their own merits. Lee Haskins will lose soon and someone will tell us how a 34-year-old European level bantamweight was exposed despite having already lost 3 times.

Saunders for all his faults is both a genuine talent and a genuine middleweight. Golden Boy will pursue the weakest champion which BJS is but he could still beat Canelo.

Martinez was way over the hill and had problems with his knees.

Geale was severely weight drained and coming straight off a crushing KO defeat to GGG.

BJS is levels above the versions of Sergio and Geale that Cotto beat and is a boxer/mover who knows how to win off the back foot, behind the jab. Stylistically, he's a nightmare for Canelo.
